Our pavilions are available to rent from April-October.
Picnic Pavilion Permits
Permits to reserve picnic pavilions will be issued beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2024 for residents and Tuesday, April 16, 2024 for non-residents on a first-come basis beginning at noon.

Darien Community Park – North Pavilion and South Pavilion
Darien Community Park is located at Plainfield & Clarendon Hills Road. This 20 acre park features 2 pavilions. The North Pavilion has electricity, grills, a concrete floor and will accommodate up to 72 people. The South Pavilion has electricity, grills, a concrete floor and will accommodate up to 108 people. The park’s amenities include 2 playgrounds, 2 tennis courts, 4 new pickleball courts, 1 new synthetic turf volleyball court, 2 renovated half basketball courts, 2 baggo stations, 1 shade structure, fitness stations, a softball field, bathroom facilities and 2 parking lots.
Meyer Woods Park Pavilion
Meyer Woods Park is located on Oldfield Road, south of Lemont Road. This 9 acre park has a pavilion large enough to accommodate 84 people. The pavilion has electricity, grills and a concrete floor. The park’s amenities include a playground, porta-potty and a parking lot.
Smart Oaks Park Pavilion
Smart Oaks Park is located at Bailey & North Frontage Road. This 7 acre park has a pavilion large enough to accommodate 90 people. The pavilion has electricity, grills and a concrete floor. The park’s amenities include a playground, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, a soccer field, a porta-potty and a parking lot.

Drop-Off
Drop off completed Pavilion Rental Agreement along with payment at the Darien Park District Community Center, 7301 Fairview Ave. A drop-box is located outside the main entrance.
